The Field Research Centre is a non-profit organization that oversees scientific, anthropological, and historical research in Antigua.  It serves as the home for many visiting scholars in Antigua and houses most of the island’s archaeological collections.  The Field Research Centre is very active in research throughout the Caribbean and has worked to improve data comparability in the region, in assisting field researchers, in training students, and in communicating the results of research to the public.
